Melon and Prosciutto roses

A very easy starter which is great for the hot weather. Melon and prosciutto is a classic combination. You could serve these as melon boats, with prosciutto on top or make these charming roses.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  1. Half a Cantalupe Melon

  2. Prosciutto, either San Daniele or Parma Ham

Method:

  1. Cut the melon in half. Scoop out the seeds. Slice up into boats then slice each boat thinly

  2. Fold a slice of prosciutto and on top of each slice of melon. Roll up and secure with a cocktail stick. Serve with a glass of prosecco
