Lumaconi al forno con mortadella
Stunning yet easy dish to prepare for a tasty dinner. Ingredients for 4 people:
350 g lumaconi pasta (or any large shells)
500 ml bechamel (make your own or buy it)
100 g Parmesan cheese
200 g mortadella meat
Olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper
Method:
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook pasta 3 mins less than what it says on the packet. Drain and set a side. Now preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Chop the mortadella in small cubes.
Add a spoonful of the meat into each pasta and arrange on a baking tray lightly greased with olive oil. Sprinkle half the Parmesan all over. Pour the bechmel all over and then sprinkle the rest of the cheese. Top with black pepper and pop in the oven for about 15-20 mins.
